DrumJam
Add a song. Drums out. Play them yourself.
Add a song you love. DrumJam takes its drums out right on your iPhone or iPad, writes them as a drum score and finds the beat, and the drum part is yours to play: on your kit, a practice pad or electronic drums.
How it works
Add a song. The drums are yours.
A neural network takes the drums out of the band, right on your iPhone or iPad, and maps the song's beat and bar lines. Your songs are never uploaded.
-
1 Add a song Pick an MP3, M4A, WAV or FLAC from Files, or share it to DrumJam from any app.
-
2 The drums come out DrumJam separates the drums from the rest of the band and finds the beat and the bar lines, all on the device.
-
3 The score writes itself Kick, snare and cymbals written out as a drum score that follows the song bar by bar. Keep it as a PDF.
-
4 Play along Turn the drums off and play them yourself in the original, or hear them alone to learn the part.
Three ways to hear it
Learn the part. Then take the drummer's seat.
Switch in an instant, without losing your place. A ring shows the bar ahead and counts you in, a click follows the song's own beat, and a loop goes round a phrase until you have it.
-
No drums
The whole song without its drummer, and your drums take their place: on your kit, a practice pad or electronic drums.
-
Drums only
Just the drummer, to hear and learn the part. Loop the hard bits, and start each time with a count-in.
-
Original
The song as it was recorded, to hear how your part sits in the band, then back to No drums to play it.
- On the deviceThe drums come out on your iPhone or iPad.
- Never uploadedYour songs stay with you. DrumJam collects nothing.
- The song's own timeThe click and the count-in fall on its beat.
- Plays onFrom the lock screen, with the screen off.
The score and the part
Read it. Hear it. Play it.
Flip the disc and the song's drum score is there, following the music bar by bar. Drums only plays it for you, alone, until it is in your hands.
